Heya everyone! My name is ScalierVariable, but most of you probably know me as Silvia!

I've never been huge on DeviantArt, but since the big social site to be on keeps changing, I've decided to setup base here! (Also because I commission most people from here than anywhere else)

So, to get to the point, I've always loved my fans and been so thankful of them, without you guys I wouldn't be where I am now I can say that with certainty. But the main driving force behind me is the artists, so I wanted to hold a contest as kinda a thank you (but also to establish here as my new HQ)

The Contest Theme is Summer! Beat the heat with a Swimsuit packed Season!

What is required? Your Submission should meet the following criteria:
1. It contains one(1) of the following OCs (Silvia, Aquarius, Princess, Cerise, Alamea, Silvana) You can find out more about the characters here: sta.sh/21m4zwpzw9h7
2. The entry represents summer in either clothing or location. E.G Wearing a Swimsuit, At the Pool/Seaside, Playing a Summer Sport.
3. Your entry cannot be a previously created piece.

*Please note that there is no character limit for the entry and mature entries are allowed!

The Contest will have the following three Categories 'Most Unique Picture', 'Most Visually Interesting' and 'Character Accurate'

*Most Unique Picture*
What's looked for here is a new take on an old idea, or something completely different! Be it an unusual pose or a new take on a tried and tested idea. Standing out from everything else is key!
*Most Visually Interesting*
As the saying goes "You can look out the window a thousand times and see something different every time you look." Fill your submission with small details and character interactions, little things in the background, creating something to give the eyes an All You Can Eat Buffet is the key for this category.
*Character Accurate*
In a nutshell 'That's just so [X]!' Every character is unique and has their own quirks and traits. Submitting a piece that fits the character perfectly in wha

1. Each Category will have a Cash Prize of $150(USD) each, with one(1) Winner and one(1) Runner-up at a 2/3 to 1/3 split.
2. If there is more than fifty(50) entries to the contest, the prizes will be DOUBLED to $300(USD) each

The final date and time for entries is 8th August 2017 @ 11:59pm 29th August @ 11:50pm
1. Please note that if there has been less than seven(7) entries by the deadline then the contest will be reviewed and either extended or cancelled.
2. In the event of a cancellation, all involved parties will receive a consolation gift.

Contest Submission Rules:

- Entries won't be accepted after the closing date. GMT/UTC time: www.timeanddate.com/worldclock…
- One(1) Submission per person.
- Submit your entry by providing a link either by DeviantArt Notes or a Comment on this Journal.
- You must also make a journal or a poll linking to this contest.
- All entries must be of your own work. Using Bases or Sketch Packs is not allowed.
- Submissions must meet the criteria of the theme.
- Submissions have to follow the Terms and Conditions of the site.
- If your Submission, account or Journal/Poll is not accessible when the contest ends, your entry will not be counted.
*Exception: In the event of a site issue a Journal with updated information will be posted.

Judging Process:

- The Judging Process will begin shortly after the closing date of the contest.
- Unless stated above, all judging is performed by myself without any other 3rd Party.
- The Winning Entry(s) will be announced within Five(5) days of the Closing Date.

Winning Entries:

- All decisions will be made by myself.
- The selected winning entries are subject to change in the event of any issues that arise within 24 hours of the announcement.
- Communication will be made with the Winner over one of the following Services. Discord, Email, DeviantArt Notes.
- Any Cash Prize will always be delivered in United States Dollars (USD) and are subject to exchange rates and fees.
- Cash Prizes will be distributed via Paypal.
- If there is no response from the winner within 23 hours of contact then another winner will be selected.
- All Decisions are absolute.
- Fourty eight(48) hours after the winners are announced you are free to remove the image that you entered for the contest if you were not one of the Winning Entries. All the rights and work on the image remain to yourself and can be repurposed for something else if you wish.
